PAMSys™
An FDA-listed wearable sensor for continuous monitoring of body postures, postural transitions, and walking parameters during activities of daily living.
PAMSys is intended to be used as a single, lightweight, wearable sensor for continuous monitoring of physical activity. It uses advanced signal processing algorithms to monitor body postures, postural transitions and walking parameters during activities of daily living.
PAMSys includes advanced algorithms to detect non-compliance of participants in wearing the sensor. PAMSys provides state of the art capabilities including up to 6 weeks of battery life and memory, and supports wireless charging. The PAMSys sensor also features a 3D accelerometer, a separate 9-axis IMU for gait monitoring, an altimeter, and 2 microphones, providing unparalleled data collection capabilities.
PAMSys is listed with the FDA as a Class II medical device, and has a medical CE mark under both the authority of MDR 2017/745 and the Medicines & Healthcare product Regulatory Agency (MHRA), allowing its use in global clinical trials and studies.
